We pulled out Thursday morning headed to Canyon Lake. We stay at Potters Creek which is a COE Park and really nice. They are very strict about arrival time and will not let you in before 3:00 pm. We left about 9:45 am and just meandered that direction. We stopped for lunch in Columbus at Mikeskas BBQ. They have good bbq and also great parking for a truck and trailer. Our next stop was in Luling where there is a quilt shop that Susan likes. We timed things just right and pulled into the campground at 3:05 pm. It was a warm day about 90 so I got a little hot setting up and unloading everything. Our friends Frank/Eileen Ponce pulled in to their site about 3:30 pm. Jamie/Belinda Purvis arrived about 4:00 pm. About 6 we all headed to Wimberley to eat at a little local pizza place. It had cooled off some and there was a nice breeze so we had a good time. Friday I was up early as usual I took a morning walk and then when Susan got up we both took a little walk. We didn't do much Friday but chill and visit, Eileen made sliders for supper and we had another nice evening,
