It was a tad chilly this morning about 57 degrees. Just right to sit by our fire pit and enjoy. The morning started out overcast and then a little sun broke thru. As the day progressed the wind picked up. We made sausage and bisquits for breakfast. After breakfast i did my daily walk, only 2 miles today as I have a sore spot on the bottom of my foot. it would help if I put my hiking shoes on instead of wearing my camp shoes. When I got back we loaded up and went to Wimberley. Susan went to a quilt shop and I went to Brookshire Brothers to pick up a few things. There were lots of people in town and it sure has grown thru the years. We drove the back way home looking at the countryside. We both ate a light lunch and took naps. When we woke up there was a light mist falling and it stayed that way till dark. Susan sewed and I read and we also watched a movie. We just had leftovers for supper. Just at dusk when I finally saw 4 deer by our camp. This was the first deer we had seen in camp, usually we always see deer here.
