We sat home most of the summer. It was the hottest summer I can remember. On Tuesday we set out on a month long trip to Arkansas. Sure expect a little cooler temperatures. We are headed to just east of Frisco first to deliver some quilts and visit Susans brother. Our first stop was in Buffalo, we met with Susans late cousins husband Bubba. She had made a quilt for him using Jennifers shirts . He loved the quilt and is going to hang it on a wall. We then headed to Lake Lavon and set up in Clear Lake COE campground. It is a very small older campground but very nice. We had a nice shady spot with lake views. It was about 94 when we got there but the humidity was low with a nice breeze so in the shade it was not too bad. Wednesday morning we got up and it was 71 degrees and a nice breeze. We just sat outside untill about 9:30. After that we got cleaned up and headed into Frisco. Even though it was only 27 miles it took an hour to get there. This ole country boy didnt understand about urban driving. We got to Richards about 12:30. Cheryl just loved her quilt and pillows. We had a great visit and then Richard took us out to eat an early supper. It was a long drive back to the trailer with such a full belly. We got home about 9:00. Cooper was glad to see us, I had to take him for a pretty good walk t get some of his energy gone. Tomorrow we have a short day planned . We will be at Dequeen Lake in Arkansas.
