Greg and Pam got here on July 3. They were a little late as
the navigator took the wrong road. Happens to the best of us. We didn”t do much
that day before they got here but drive around checking out different places to
go see and some things to do. When they got her we just chilled around camp
that evening.
The next day was the 4th. We drove up to Ludington State park , then
walked over the dunes to Lake Michigan. We just waded in the water and looked
around. It was a beautiful beach. We drove back into Ludington to get something
for lunch. We arrived right before the parade and managed to eat in the “House
of Flavors” which also gave us a good view of the parade. The parade lasted
about 2 hrs. After that we drove to a place to checkout kayaking rates. Headed
back to camp to chill and plan our float trip tomorrow.
