It rained
all night. The power blinked off about 4 times. I woke up about 4:30 and
couldn’t go back to sleep. After tossing and turning for about 30 minutes I got
up and made coffee. It was just barely drizzling outside. Susan got up about
6:30. We got on the road about 7:15. It
was a much longer day than I wanted. We made it to Abilene State Park at about
3:30pm. It was 101 degrees when we got
there. Welcome back to Texas.
