What a
change, we woke up to sunshine this morning. It sure was nice. I notice that
when I ran my water pump this morning my low battery alarm chirped. Looks like
its time to replace since we are doing a lot of boondocking. We got everything
loaded up and on the road by 9. We stopped at Walmart in Woodland Park and I
got a new battery for the trailer. We cruised along headed to Estes Park and
made good time till we got to Lyons. It took about 15 minutes to get thru
there. Traffic got better until about five miles from Estes Park. Bumper to
Bumper going about 5 mph. 40 minutes later after we entered Rocky Mountain
National Park it got better. We got to our campsite and had to do a lot of
manurving to set up and keep our slide outs out of the street. Our site was a
pull out along side of road but not very wide. We finally got everything set up
and then chilled out. We can only run our generator from 7:30 am to 10:00 am
and then again from 4:00pm to 8:30 pm.
Looks like we will have to rough it some.
