- Susan retired from education in May 2011 and I retired in December 2011 . We are not full timers but do travel a lot. We enjoy traveling around the country. There are many beautiful places in the USA and we are going to try and see all of them while we can.

Auguat 12, 2016 A Day Trip to Cimarron, NM
It was 45 degrees this morning. Generator hours are 7:00 to 10:00 pm so I couldn't make coffee till then. We ran the furnace to warm the trailer up. I fixed us a little breakfast inside the trailer cause we haven't set up outside yet. We had to move one spot over . This is the site we have reserved starting Sunday. We will probably have to move one more time. We are hoping the person who has reserved this site doesn't show up and then we will not have to move. We decided to drive to Cimarron today. It is a really nice drive thru a canyon. It is a small town with not a lot in it .It does have one nice old antique shop which is run by a nice lady. It also has an old hotel called the " Saint James Hotel". It claims that many old western heroes stayed here at different times such as Billy the Kid, Bill Cody, Annie Oakley and a few others I have forgot. We left there and went back to Eagle Nest and had lunch. We headed back to the trailer and chilled out. We tried to sit outside but the wind was just blowing too much.
