We have caught some nice weather so far. The mornings have been great and even though it has warmed up to 86-88 in the evenings the humidity has been low. The only drawback has been the mosquitos, at times they are fierce. You must put on spray when your outside. The morninigs are not too bad but the evenings they come out pretty good. We have pretty much just stayed in camp most of the time doing small trips at times. This part of Arkansas is farming country with rice, soybeans and cotton being grown. We did go one day to the Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park . I had no idea there were any Indian mounds around here. Its is a nice little exhibit. Susan also found a quilt shop to visit . The cold front never made it to us as it fizzled out but at least we got no rain. We pack up this morning and head to Greers Ferry Lake. Its only about a 2 hr trip.
