We left Bryan this morning about 6:45. We didn"t know how far we would go today but thought we might make Amarillo. We stopped before Fort Worth and ate breakfast and topped the diesel tank. Construction thru Fort Worth was the pits. We will not travel this route again till they get finished. We decided to shut down after about 6 hours which put us in Goodlett Texas. There is a rv park called The Cotton Gin ,{ where we have stayed before) and we pulled in for the night. There is really no reason to push ourselves. It is hot, about 99 degrees Actually with the low humidity and a nice wind it doesn't feel too bad. It should be our last hot day as we will be in northern New Mexico or southern Colorado tomorrow. It wasn't a bad drive today but not much scenery.
