My goodness it was 45 when I got up this morning. I had to turn the furnace on and warm the trailer up a little bit. The sky was clear blue with no clouds early, that's the first time so far. Later in the morning we took a road trip thru the San Isabel National Forest. It was a spectacular drive. We stopped at a campground on Lake Isabel and looked around. Its about 9400 feet there. Only could find about 4 sites that we could get in. In the little town of San Isabel we stopped at the only lodge/restaurant there and ate lunch. We had a smothered green chili cheeseburger and it was great. If we were camped near there I would eat one every day.We continued on around and made a big loop to head back to camp. We stopped at a grocery store in Walsenburg to pick up a few things. Everything is pricey here. We got back to camp and relaxed the rest of the day.
