I have been able to sleep a little later than normal so it was about 6 when I got up. Maggie and I started for our morning walk. The hail that was still on the ground had melted and looked like snow. One of our neighbors were already packing up to leave. They were not back when we got the storm yesterday evening .So when they arrived they were surprised at the hail and even more surprised that they had about a 3 !/2 foot hole in the top of their pop up trailer. Luckily they also had a tent which was ok so they all piled up in it last night. They had planned to go home today anyway so it was just an early start. We also got an earlier start even though we didn't have far to go. We figured to stop somewhere and eat a late breakfast. That didn't happen as there were not many places we could find enough parking space for a truck and trailer. When we did find a place we were only about 15 minutes from our destination. We chose to go on and set up. We are Bear Creek Lake park in Lakewood Colorado which is a southwest suburb of Denver. We will be here till Sunday. We needed to be near Denver Sunday as Kristi and the girls are flying in to stay a week with us. All the State parks were already booked for the weekend near Denver. I found this place and we can stay here until we move to Boyd Lake State Park on Sunday. Its a small campground with no trees.but its pretty nice. The good thing is we have cell and Internet service. It was one of our warmer days about 86 and we turned on the ac for the first time in awhile. Later I got on the roof and repaired the vents with some roof tape I had. This should last till we get home..We did ride around and check out some laundromats somewhat nearby but didn't like them. Tomorrow we will find one and get all our clothes washed.
