February Clear cutting Mack Creek

They are clear cutting the lease. While it will look ugly it will help the deer hunting in the years ahead. Our camp will be wide open when the finish. They are just cutting what they thinned a few years ago. They have to stay off the creeks and drains so we still have the same hardwoods as before.

Oct,Nov,Dec Mack Creek 2021

Last year (2020) was the best hunting season we had ever had. This year was the worst year we ever had. I saw deer the first two weeks but no 13 plus. I did shoot one doe. We got lots of night pictures but the deer just quit moving in the daylight. Next year will have to be better. We still enjoyed camp life and being outside.

Sept 2021 Lake Time

We did a 3 day weekend at the lake. It was hot but not bad when you were on the water. I didnt take a lot of pictures but we had a fun time.

Sept-Oct School Volleyball Season

I haven"t done any blogs since we got back from our summer trip. While we have not made any trips we have been busy. I need to post a few things before I forget. Kristi/Mike finally got their new volleyball practice facility up and running, Kingwood Revolution Volleyball.  Exciting times for them to get Phase 1 completed.  Ashley played JV this wear and this was Mackenna"s senior volleyball year.
