- Susan retired from education in May 2011 and I retired in December 2011 . We are not full timers but do travel a lot. We enjoy traveling around the country. There are many beautiful places in the USA and we are going to try and see all of them while we can.

July 5---Travel Day
Today we left for Arkansas. Oh wait, first we had to be at MD Anderson for Susan's Dr appointment at 8:30. She had a rheumatolgy visit to get new prescriptions. Of course we had to blood work and xrays so we didn't get home till noon. I had anticipated this so the truck was hooked up and ready to roll. All we had to do was pick up Maggie and go. It was a nice drive with not much traffic.We arrived at Dequeen Lake about 6:30 pm. Got the trailer set up and then just sat outside for awhile. There was a nice breeze blowing and no humidity. We have a nice shady site with a water view. Looking forward to doing nothing till Sunday.
