Another fine morning, there was not much smoke around and a very light wind. We decided to stay home today. Seems like we always need a day to recover after a long day. Cooper has developed a habit that after our morning walk he gets in my lap under a blanket and sleeps till Susan gets up. It's hard to use my laptop when he is on my lap. I piddled around all day and then watched the Calgary Stampede rodeo on TV. Susan spent most of the day sewing. all in all not an exciting day. Late that evening the wind shifted and we got a lot of smoke in the air. Just stayed inside till bedtime. According to the news the Black Canyon fire is zero contained and has burned about 2300 acres.
