- Susan retired from education in May 2011 and I retired in December 2011 . We are not full timers but do travel a lot. We enjoy traveling around the country. There are many beautiful places in the USA and we are going to try and see all of them while we can.

June 20 Traveling to Santa Rosa State Pqark, New Mexico
We
got on the road by 7 this morning. We
made one stop for breakfast and two fuel stops. Gained an hour when we hit New
Mexico. Pulled into Santa Rosa Lake State Park about 2:00 pm. I got the trailer set up and never broke a
sweat. The temp was about 92 but the humidity was 15%. We had a nice breeze and it was nice outside,
except the gnats were bad. This park is
nice but the landscape takes a little
getting used to. Tomorrow I want to go
to a RT 66 .museum in town. Its supposed
to be nice. We may leave here Sunday or
maybe Monday.
