It was a chilly morning when I got up. Overcast with brief light showers and 43 degrees. The weather forecast called for severe thunderstorms and 70 mph winds staring around 2:00 pm. I was able to cook breakfast outside. Cooper and I took a nice little walk. It wasn't"t a bad morning. About 10:30 the weather showed the storms coming in a little quicker than expected. We decided to go to Laramie to look around at Murdochs (my favorite store) and do other things till all the bad weather was finished. An RV trailer is no fun at 70-75 mph winds. Just as we were getting in to town we got in a hail storm. It was about acorn size and it pounded us for about a mile. When we got to Murdochs the rain was just about over. The temperature had fell to about 49 degrees. After we left Murdochs we went and had a late lunch at the Prairie Rose. It's my favorite little cafe here. While we were in Laraime I got a tornado warning, Our campsite was directly in the cone. We were glad we were not there. We went to Walmart and then got gas for the truck and our generators. We headed back as the storm had passed on. Luckily the trailer made it fine. The rest of the evening was fine but it only warmed up to about 55. degrees. Hopefully we will have no more storms. My blogs will be erratic due to cell service issues . Also very hard to upload pictures.
