It seems like we have been packing for weeks. Im pretty sure the trailer is at its max rate. We finally got on the road this morning for at least two months. We are headed to Wyoming, Colorado, and Northern New Mexico. I don"t like driving long hours anymore so we are going at a snails pace. Our first stop is Huntsville State Park for two nights. We left about 10:30 am. We stopped in Livingston at the Catfish King and had lunch and it was very good. We rolled into the park about 1:00 pm. It was hot so I was glad I picked a shady spot. I plugged the trailer in , turned the ac on , it was 92 inside and 94 outside. I leveled the trailer and put two chairs out. Since we are only here till Sunday I did not really set up the whole camp. With all the trees I didn't"t think I could get satellite TV but somehow managed it. I took Cooper for a walk and then went inside, the trailer was cooling down nicely. For supper we had leftovers from last night. Susan just cut some fabric and I chilled out for the evening. Saturday morning was a fairly nice morning. Cooper and I took a morning walk. I cooked a setting of eggs and bacon for breakfast. We loaded up and went to Susans favorite quilt shop in Huntsville. Since it had really heated up Cooper and I didn't walk around ,we just waited in the truck. After that we headed to Riverside to Tallents Meat Market. I stocked up on as much link sausage as our freezer would hold because you cannot get good link sausage up north. I also got boudain that Adam wanted for the same reason. After that we headed to HEB for some last minute items. Then we headed back to camp. We still has some leftovers for supper. Sunday morning was nice with a little breeze so we could sit outside comfortably. I cooked breakfast and then we cleaned up, hooked up and headed for Airport Park on Lake Waco.
