I just thought the heat wave had arrived Thursday. Yesterday the highest temp I saw was 111. Yep thats not a typo. Today the temp topped out at 108. Theres just not much fun to be had outside when its that hot. Also even though we have shade the trailer struggles to keep up. About 78 is the best it can do. Yesterday we just rode the countryside. A lot of narrow two lane (barely) mountain roads. Susan went to two quilt shops which made her day a success. Today we rode the countryside again for a little while. It is very pretty country around here.
I think Maggie was the only one to enjoy the sun. She stretched out for a little nap.She probably could have stayed out longer but I couldn"t. We leave tomorrow for Indiana. If we had been thinking we would have left today to get away from this heat. It will still be hot where we are headed but the high there is supossed to be 94. Funny how that seems cooler.
