Sept 14, 2020 Made it to Beaver Lake

We had no campers in sight yesterday evening as everyone else in our section pulled out. It was  a very quite time. Monday morning we got up and piddled around for a little while. We pulled out of the park about 10:30. The first 50 miles we very curvy and up and down. I didn't have to worry about speeding as i rarely got up to 50 mph. We had planned on eating breakfast but not many towns along the way and no one was open. We finally ate lunch at a little cafe in Alpena. It was another good place to eat. After that we stopped in Berryville at Walmart to restock supplies. We pulled in to Beaver Lake around 2:30, It is located above the dam. The campsites are located on an Island so you will at the very least have a water view. We got our favorite spot on top of the hill. We got all set up and then sat outside the rest of the evening.
