July 11,2021 A Day of Rest

It was decently cool when i got up this morning around 63. It did make 88 today with 12% humidity. The heat wave is supposed to last one more day and then cool off. It was still a pretty nice day to us. Susan did something to her ankle yesterday and was hobbling. We are not sure if it isn"t gout but she is doing ice pack for the swelling and taking naproxen. We drove to Riverton which is about 30 miles from Lander, We ate breakfast at a little cafe there. It was good and we had enough leftover for another breakfast. After that I found a Walgreens and bought some crutches. We headed back home. Susan just stayed off her foot as much as possible. I did all our laundry and bedding at the rv park laundry room. This is a nice little park for a stayover. They pack you in close but we did have a little room behind us. I fueled the truck, generators, and gas cans because we will be in the Tetons for 10 days with no hook ups. In the morning I will dump our tanks and fill up with water.  Lander is a nice clean little town. The mountain views would be nice but we have a lot of haze right now from the California and Oregon wildfires.  Anyway it was a good restfull day.
