June 3, 2016 A Flat Tire, Broken Wine Botlle, Cut Finger and a Volcano

A really nice early morning. We didn't have to run the ac last night as the temperature got down to 64 degrees.  We were not in a hurry this morning and we left about 8:30. We stopped in Childress, Tx to get Susan and Sammi a drink for the road. I got out to check things and found a tire leaking. It was a tire that I had put a tube in last year. Found the wheel was cracking so I got a new wheel and put tire on and we were on the road. While getting the tire fixed Susan cut her finger with a rotary cutter she was using. Upon entering the trailer she found a wine bottle had fell and shattered. There was wine every where. She repaired her finger and cleaned up the mess. We then headed down the road. We stopped In Dumas at a small city park and ate lunch. We cruised into Capulin NM about 3 O'clock. . Susan finished cleaning up and washing Sammis sheets, blankets, and some stuffed animals which were covered in wine. Sammi and I went to see the Capulin Volcano. Its a neat drive to the top and then we walked down to the center of the cone. Sammi had a good time. When we got back Susan and I sat outside and had happy hour. Sammi found some kids to play with. I cooked hamburgers for supper. Tomorrow will be a short day as La Veta is only  2 hrs.
Nice morning
