Travel day to Paradise

Today we left for Paradise, Michigan. It wasn’t a long trip; it took us about two hours. We are staying in Tahquamenon Falls State Park. It has several campgrounds so we decided to stay at Rivermouth. We are about 100 yards from the river. It looks like its going to be a good place to kayak. The river goes into Lake Superior about a mile from us. After we got here we rode into Paradise to check it out. Found a little café to eat lunch. Susan had fish and chips and I had Whitefish sandwich.  I haven’t tried any smoked fish yet but plan to. It seems it be the popular choice up here.  After that we hit an ice cream shop for some Mackinac Island Fudge. There is no shortage of ice cream shops and taverns up here. Once we got back to camp we took a little bike ride (finally some flat ground) then just chilled in camp the rest of the evening. Right before we went to bed a storm blowed in, it’s the first we have had on this trip. Sure glad I’m not tenting it. This a pretty remote location, too many trees to get satillite tv and can get no  digital staions on the antenna. Luckily can pick up a few radio stations.Guess we are lucky to have cell phone service. I did notice that they rent atv"s in town. May check that out because there is lots of forest trails you can ride up here.
