It was a
beautiful morning again about 49 with a light wind. It was a really nice
sunrise. I built a nice fire and we sat outside for most of the morning. We had
lots of humming birds coming to the feeder. We are surrounded by nice meadows
and forest but we haven’t seen any animals such as deer,elk, or bear. We went
down the mountain so we could get cell/internet service. After checking things
out we drove up to a original homestead built
in 1878. We couldn’t go inside but it was a neat place. We went back home and
chilled. Susan has a friend who lives in Salida named Cup. She met us in Lake
George and Susan went home with her. I will get her tomorrow. Maggie and I
spent the evening looking for critters but didn"t see any.
