July 14, 2016 Snowy Mountain Range

It was 45 when I got up this morning. It actually felt colder to me and even with the furnace on it took awhile for me to warm up. The sun was bright and there was little to no wind. We decided that we would drive to the Snowy Mountain Range today and look around. We stopped  in Laramie and ate breakfast at The Prairie Rose. It was just as good today as it was yesterday. We then headed on up to the high mountains. Now that we know what we are looking for we scoured the area for dispersed camping.  We found several places we would definitely stay at. The high mountain lakes are so pretty.  At the highest elevations there was still a little snow on the ground. At one of the observation points we could easily see the Beaver Creek fire in Colorado. It has spread into Wyoming now. On the way back down we stopped in Centennial and rewarded ourselves with ice cream. Once we got back to the trailer we both took a nap.  I built a nice fire for the evening and we enjoyed it,
A nice camping spot
